Stanley Green Dream Team

Autumn School Disco's    

Friday 18^th October 2024 (in the school hall)

Reception - 3.30pm – 4.15pm – Reception children will stay with their teacher until the beginning of their disco

Year 1  - 4.30pm – 5.15pm

Year 2 - 5.30pm – 6.30pm

The tickets are £3.50 each, price includes the disco, a mufti day, a cupcake and a drink. 

Children are welcome to wear something sparkly/practical disco wear for the day so there is no need to provide an outfit change.

Christmas Fayre                

Friday 22nd November 2024 (in the school hall, 3.30pm onwards) 

Come and see local stall holders, games, tombola, our famous raffle, not forgetting 'Story Time with Santa' and much more!     

Christmas 'Pop Up Shop'      

Our ‘Pop up Shop’ will be back this year on Thursday 12^th December, children will have a chance to buy  a Christmas gift for someone they love! Further details to follow.

        Christmas Shoe Box Appeal 

                                                     HOUSE OF OPPRTUNITY

Stanley Green Infant Academy have been invited by ‘House of Opportunity’ to support their Christmas Box appeal this year. 

Your Christmas boxes will go to children and adults in all kinds of circumstances, including abandoned children living in state care, poor rural schools and kindergartens, women’s refuges, prisoner’s children, isolated and elderly folk, refugees and Roma children living in difficult conditions. 

The Christmas Boxes show people who have been rejected or are living in poverty that they are loved.  You are welcome to collect items for your own box or donate items separately.

We are a friendly, welcoming and caring PTA made up of parents/carers, teachers, school staff and volunteers. We give up our own time to put the School, Stanley Green Infant Academy (SGIA) at the heart of our Community. As a recently established team in 2022, we pride ourselves on teamwork and making a positive contribution, with such passion to enhance all children’s and parents/carers school life experiences.

The SGDT gave it their all to provide a summer fete for Stanley Green.

Even though the weather took a turn for the worst with torrential rain, it still went ahead!

We had a great turn out and we’re so thankful for the teachers and volunteers that were able to help us. We raised an amazing £1101.66 on the day!!!

Cake sales went ahead and also our popular ‘Freezy Fridays’ (ice pop sales)!

The year 2 children created a ‘year 2 leavers’ t-towel which turned out great!

We would like to thank all of the parents, grandparents, volunteers, teachers and stall holders for all of your support so far this year.

More to come… we hold regular meetings to organise different events throughout the school year. If you are interested in joining our team, please drop your name and number into the office and we will be in touch to invite you onboard.

All money made goes directly to the school to be able to help fund school trips, educational resources and fulfil the schools wish list. We have great fun doing this too!
