Caring Canines

Caring Canines is a local charity set up to help schools, care homes, hospitals and other institutions by enabling dogs to visit with their owners, to improve wellbeing.

Terry and Roadie quickly became a real hit at Stanley Green; the children and staff really do love seeing them every week.  Roadie is a gentle soul and we feel very lucky to have our regular weekly visits.  We know that the children really benefit from reading to Roadie and Terry, who both have plenty of patience and are always happy to listen.   

Part of the work with Caring Canines also teaches children how to behave safely around dogs.
